What signing means

You support the specific request and version shown when you sign. Your signature counts after email confirmation. Email verification does not establish identity, residency or voting eligibility.

What we collect and share

We store your name, email, town, consent and confirmation timestamps. Your email stays private. Your full name and town may be provided to the named decision-maker when the petition is delivered. They may become part of a public municipal record. Only your initial and town appear on our site if you choose that option. Do not include private information in the town field.

Your choices

No account, purchase or marketing subscription is required. We do not sell signer information or add signers to sales outreach. Use the withdrawal link in your confirmation email to remove your signature from the live petition and future exports. We cannot recall a copy once dispatch has begun or it has been delivered. Creating and delivering a petition

Organizers verify their email and submit their request, evidence, location, proposed recipient, signature goal and deadline for review. Custom recipients are verified against official sources before publication. Organizer email and private management links are never public. An approved campaign closes at the confirmed signature goal or deadline, whichever comes first, and is sent within the delivery cycle to the recipient shown before signing. This is community correspondence; formal petition or agenda acceptance may require a separate process. SMTP acceptance is recorded separately from a recipient response. A campaign with no confirmed support closes without sending a supporter list.

Proposals and retention

Issue proposals remain private pending review. We retain private organizer records while the campaign is active and for up to 12 months after closure; declined or unverified proposals are eligible for removal after 90 days. We may contact the organizer about their proposal. Unconfirmed signatures are eligible for deletion after 30 days; contact us to request deletion of your personal information. Confirmed petition records are retained while a campaign is active and for up to 12 months after closure unless a documented obligation requires otherwise.
